I rate Linksys Ethernet Switches eight out of 10. We use only Cisco Catalyst Switches and also Linksys Switches, which are the best kind.

I'm not 100% certain that we are using the latest version of the solution. It might be an older one. I'd rate the solution at an eight out of ten. We've largely been quite happy with its capabilities so far. I'd recommend it to other users and organizations.

Cisco is well-known, reliable, and stable for networking solutions. I am going to continue to use this solution. However, I will also use some other vendor devices that have some features that Cisco might not be able to support. 90% of my private network is using Cisco devices with other solutions. I would recommend this solution to others. Overall this is the best solution but the price is a little high. I rate Cisco Linksys Ethernet Switches an eight out of ten.

In India, 50% of customers are using Cisco, and the remaining 50% of customers use other products. We will keep on using this solution because it has a never-ending demand from our customers. I would rate this solution a nine out of ten. It is a stable product.

My advice for anybody who is considering this product is not to use Linksys. I would not recommend it. I've used it in different places and the stability of Linksys is always a question mark. I would rate this solution a four out of ten.

We're a reseller. We work almost exclusively with Cisco. We are also working with Cisco in providing networking, wireless, WiFi, and everything related to them that works within security. We don't work with Meraki, however. We prefer standard networking devices. We're not comfortable with cloud administration. We work with small businesses and small firewalls when we use this product and we only really use this particular solution on a few of our projects. On a scale from one to ten, I would rate the solution at a seven.

I would recommend this product for other users who want to start using it. We do not have anything negative to say about the product and it has been serving us well. There would be no reason not to recommend it. On a scale from one to ten (where one is the worst and ten is the best), I would rate this product from my perspective as a nine-out-of-ten. It would be very difficult for me to give it a higher rating. There are parts of it that can be improved.

The advice I would offer to others in implementing Cisco Lynksys Switches is that somebody on the team has to be well aware of basic networking and how the search network works. That will make them easier to use and implement. On a scale from one to ten where one is the worst and ten is the best, I would rate the Cisco Linksys Ethernet Switches depending on the class. For example, I think the Cisco 9300s are almost an eight-out-of-ten.

I would recommend this product. I have experience in using just Cisco switches, so I don't think that I'm going to replace them with any other vendor and use something else. But for SMBs, I think Belkin or Linksys switches are also fine, because their lower cist and also features they support. I would rate Linksys Ethernet Switches a ten out of ten for SMB environments.

All of our Cisco products are on-premises deployment models. I'd recommend the solution for those who are price-conscious and those who are looking for good performance. I'd rate the solution seven out of ten. A lot of things can be better with these types of devices, however, it depends on Cisco's policies. These types of products could support more features and protocols in the future. Cisco could work to improve these types of products, by enhancing performance and other related items.

My advice for anyone who is considering this type of solution is to first consider the budget. Dell switches are cheaper and they do almost the same thing as Cisco. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.

I'd advise others to carefully read the datasheet of Linksys and all the tools. It's also a good idea to make a thorough analysis of the company so that you'll know what size you will use and which solution to work with. I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.

If you want to be a Cisco master you need to have a good understanding of the command line and how to use it, which is difficult for some administrators. Many people would prefer solutions that you can configure through a GUI. It is easier to configure an SPC as opposed to a Cisco switch. People are finding alternative solutions because of the price. The same happened with Firewall landscapes, people are moving away from checkpoint and Cisco and going with Juniper or FortiGate, because of the pricing and licensing model. I would suggest that people continuously upskill themselves to remain relevant in the industry. I would rate this solution a seven out of ten.

Cisco is absolutely the very best in its class. It's a no-nonsense type of solution. It's really a matter of taking it out of the box, setting it up and be up and running in no time. And you know you can walk away with confidence, knowing that the solution will work. There will be no hiccups, bugs, bug fixes, nothing. It's a simple solution that works every time. On a scale from one to 10, I would rate it a 10. I really love this solution. In the next release, I would really love to see a list option. Cisco currently has various feature seats that the customer can choose from. I would really like to see the use of that. And I would like to see that included in the standard features. So once the customer buys the hardware, they get all the features and everything's enabled. So that's what I would recommend from my side and what'd I'd really love to see.

Linksys is still on the market, but it's more Cisco now. It all depends on the customer's needs and budget. The problem is the Java installation because most of them rely on Java, and that is the problem with all devices. If you want a new modern dashboard or management utility, you have to replace the devices. It's not easy to improve all of the functionalities, and there are new devices on the market. It cannot be changed and we understand that. Some devices have more features than what the customer needs or can use. The computers are more powerful than the capabilities of the ordinary user. They have already improved. I recently installed a Cisco device, the Cisco FirePower, and it's completely different they are not reliant on Java as they were before. New devices have a new approach in the next generation in the firewall devices. It is changing. It's not perfect but I am satisfied. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.
