What do I think about the stability of the solution?

We have not had an issue with the ManageEngine AssetExplorer, it is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

ManageEngine AssetExplorer is scalable because it can manage multi-site assets. For example, If you have different sites in Asia, Europe, or the US, you can set up a single instance and you can manage the different remote servers for each site. With the current situation with the pandemic where most of the employees are working from home, it is designed for remote work. You can easily have an advantage using this solution if your employees are at home working.

How are customer service and support?

The support is very good. They provide support 24 hours a day five days a week and are responsive to solving issues that arise. Support can be contacted via different types of remote support, such as email. Our customers raise their inquiries to us locally, and there were seldom tickets that needed to be raised to ManageEngine. There are tickets that are being raised on topics, such as additional functionality on a specific operation, but this is not often.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup is quite easy. All you need to do is install the ManageEngine AssetExplorer, cull out the agents, and all the information will be gathered. Operationally, you need to manually define the financial information and license management, including the contract associated with each other. Those are the operations that need to be performed on the solution. The solution is bundled with its own database and web application and from the moment you install it, it can be used. It does not take very long, it can be done in a matter of minutes.

ManageEngine AssetExplorer is priced well compared to other solutions and the pricing is available online and you can easily see the upfront cost.
