The solution just isn't being updated enough.

IBM is not updating to make it possible to use cloud infrastructure.

The product is very late to the game and the new technology is hard. A simple example that you cannot do with Tivoli, is you cannot even delete a device. If, for example, we have a router or switch and the device is decommissioned, and we want to get rid of the device, you don't even have a button to delete the device by itself, meaning that you need to do it by stripping the database and so on. That's crazy. We don't have time to do that anymore. We need to go on and we need to have a faster solution. 

Everybody knows that any device has got a life span, and we need to delete them from time to time. If we have 10,000 devices, someday those 10,000 devices will need to be deleted. We need the capabilities to delete devices as easily as we can add them.  

The solution cannot scale well.

Technical support is slow and sometimes they don't understand the issues at hand.
