Pros
"We have scaled it without any issues.""These are the basic access layer switches used for connectivity among users, and they are cost-effective.""The speed is very fast.""I like that these switches are reliable, and the support is good.""The most valuable feature in HPE Ethernet Switches is programmability and analytics.""HPE Ethernet Switches have a lifetime warranty. I am using an old version of the solution, but I have heard the new models have incorporated a lot of new features, such as remote setup.""The most valuable feature is that they all have PoE. "The thing that sets Juniper apart from most switches is that when you're in the command line and you make a configuration change, you just write the command and then say "commit confirmed minutes". For example, I'm configuring a switch here in my office, which is five miles away, and I say, "commit confirmed 5". If I can't get back to the interface within five minutes to be able to make sure the switch came up, it rolls back to the previous configuration. This way I do not get locked out, or the switch doesn't get messed up because of the incorrect configuration. That's an automatic feature, which is pretty slick. I haven't seen that feature with other vendors that I've worked with. That's probably my most favorite feature.""It's easy to use.""It has features that allow us to go back to previous configurations.""The Juniper Ethernet switch feature I find the most valuable is reliability.""It is easy to configure, and there are three routing switches.""One of the nicest things about Juniper switches is they work well with other vendor products. When you have to go into a situation where other vendor switches are present, you can make it work.""This solution is impeccable.""The security is good."

Cons
"Installation could be made more secure.""When we have a lot of clients on the system, we lose signal and have to restart our antenna.""There is some improvement needed for the power supply of the solution.""Authentication and other security features are not easily satisfied using the lower-end switches.""It is not very stable.""The solution could improve by having more integration options.""The ability to stack, as well as a unified operating system, would be extremely beneficial.""The only improvement I can think of is that it could be better with less updates."

"We need to start seeing some kind of AI to assist with some of what we really want to accomplish from a policy standpoint to achieve better efficiency.""The updates are constantly breaking.""The interface could be better. It needs improvement.""Has a steep learning curve.""The management platforms for the network need improvement.""The management tools are limited in their abilities, and suffer from upgrade problems.""I have found the scalability could be improved in the version I was using.""The upgrading of the system should be simplified and made faster."
