We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:
"The dashboards are quite good, especially on the latest versions."
"The solution has very good processes. It's very easy to deploy and has good reviews on it. It offers good automation and the solution has very good developers working on it."
"From a solution standpoint, screen capture and tight integration with Outlook are valuable features."
"The most valuable features are the portals for extracting data from PDF files, appending data to SAP, automating the SAP, downloading reports, and mapping and creating the reports accordingly to your requirements."
"The ability to drag and drop various components and the customizability are good features."
"One of the most valuable features is the solution's simple automation regarding object cloning and strings variables."
"The solution is very manageable."
"The entire backend system structure is something that I found really valuable."
"The inbuilt RE Framework makes development easier and fast."
"We see time savings for our users in the sense that they now can do more tasks that should have been done all along but weren't getting done. That's more where the gains have been this far."
"I really like that I am able to tell the story, using Orchestrator, how humans work, how bots work, and how humans and bots work together."
"Attended Bots have been star cases as it totally removes dependencies of user literacy to know the application."
"The most valuable thing about this solution is that it is easy to develop and easy to train everyone how to use."
"Although we don't use it, document understanding for our use cases is very compelling, but it was a little cost prohibitive just out the gate. We are looking at it long-term now that we have the data filtered if we can more strategically apply it to the best data to fit it. But overall, the platform is very innovative. I don't think I can call out one particular feature. The ease of use of integrating to and from Amazon components, being a cloud-native application ourselves, has been really helpful in the development and the ease of transferring documents between our internal systems and platform."
"It enables us to provide new services, e.g., our use case is something that we could not have delivered manually. Now that we use the robot, it is something that we can offer to clients. Therefore, it has helped us expand our scope of services and offer to clients more competitive fees."
"In terms of the ease of building automation, from what I've seen, I'm very impressed. We're using a partner. We built the COE and everything that they're developing right now. Obviously, we're just starting down this path. This means we're going to go work with a partner while we're developing our own guys. We can get to market quicker."
"We do have some troubles with the internal software commands, but we have been troubleshooting this bug to fix it."
"I would like to be able to access BotForm using a mobile app."
"The CL command poses an issue during the process of data conversion, accuracy, data loss and the assessment of certain data as false."
"There should be more support for developing in environments such as Citrix and Linux."
"Sometimes I feel like it doesn't work properly and we are not able to provide the dexterity needed."
"I would like to have access to self-service support."
"The OCR command needs to improve. This feature is used to convert the extracted data from an image file. While converting this file I was facing a lot of issues with the data because it was getting lost and some of the data which was extracted was mismatched. The data loss was rated as a nine and the data accuracy was a massive decrease and was up to 80%."
"It would be ideal if the solution offered more language options, such as Arabic."
"I would suggest that UiPath be released for use on other platforms."
"For a few of the projects, we have saved money, however, on a few of these projects we've noticed less revenue. The orchestration cost is a bit higher when we are working on smaller projects."
"The should be more out-of-the-box models if UiPath keeps adding on."
"I'm trying not to sound negative about it as I like them a lot, however, the process mining and the process mining features stem further away from the development of the robots and the monitoring. The development, run, and monitoring are really closely knit, or really close together, and then process discovery is starting to get there. It's on its way, however, I don't see that it's as closely connected as the other three parts."
"They should add chatbots functionality for Microsoft Teams and not only for Slack."
"They can probably focus more on attended stuff or creating a UI around that. We are not using the attended bot a lot, however, I have seen some use cases in other organizations, as I'm working in consulting. I've seen in some other areas where an organization wants to use attended automation, however, the feature is not very well designed which makes it difficult to use."
"UiPath could work towards more engagement on the community practice side. Some of our people are having a hard time understanding how to make sense of the data that UiPath puts out."
"They should include new machine learning and AI algorithms for better forecasting and analytics."
"There is a license for this solution and it is on an annual basis. I am satisfied with the price."
"Its price is quite high as compared to other solutions, but it has a lot of features and good stability. They should reduce its price."
"We pay approximately $15,000 USD per year."
"Licenses are paid on a yearly basis and the cost is quite high."
"Our licensing costs are approximately $3,000 USD annually."
"We are on an annual license for the solution and is priced well."
"The licensing is on a monthly basis."
"An unattended bot license costs around $5,000, whereas an attended bot license costs roughly $1,500."
"My advice is to ask about how the licensing works and how to get access to the other services that UiPath provides."
"The licensing is too expensive. It is not a cheap product. We constantly have to build business cases where we have to justify our existence as an RPA team."
"It is very costly to implement RPA. However, I think the benefits outweigh the costs over a long-term period."
"Pricing is quite reasonable with UiPath and there are some tools which are free to use."
"I'd advise others to consider sharing the costs after ensuring they understand their expectations for utilizing the capacity of the robots."
"Our license cost is reduced since we don't require any IT support."
"The licensing system is something that needs to be improved."
"Do your research, the infrastructure piece is important to understand before purchasing."
