"MikroTik Routers and Switches are stable""We've enjoyed the fact that it has very good performance.""The solution is stable.""The most valuable feature is its bandwidth management ability.""This is a good solution.""The MikroTik Hotspot is great.""The pricing is very reasonable. It's not too expensive.""They are very good at providing the bandwidth for multi-tenants and multi-dwelling units. We're managing WiFi hotspots for hundreds of locations, and the speed and performance are quite there. They also have very cheap 10G products that come with really good and flexible software. They are way cheaper than the top brands, and they're able to deliver the same performance and capabilities."

Cons
"I would say that the customization of the switches could be easier to configure.""The need to come up with a bit more flexibility in their range of models.""It's an expensive product.""It would be better and easier for us to buy if the price were reduced.""If you work for a small business, then Cisco would be best.""It's a little less convenient for more simplified management needs.""The product could be a little more competitive price-wise.""The customer service could be a bit quicker and the employees could be more professional."

"They need to create a license for IBS. I have a lot of clients that have spam on their networks.""The CPU load is too high. This causes the Internet to lag.""MikroTik does not have a wireless solution. If they created a high-performance wireless solution we would deploy it in our infrastructure.""There needs to be better support for this solution in India. We have no local support.""Sometimes, when I need to reboot or change software, MikroTik crashes.""They lack the extended warranty for the equipment. They only provide a warranty for one year as compared to the other vendors who offer a warranty for three years, five years, and lifetime, etc.""Better security is always better. If they can continue to improve in this area, that would be ideal.""As far as improvements, there are basically only two things I would suggest. First, I think they should provide extensive training for the new releases of products, especially in the LTE space. Second, they could spend more time ensuring that their OS releases are more stable, rather than waiting for things to fall apart on the customer's premises before they make the necessary changes."

  • "There are no licensing costs for the Aruba Switches."
  • "The price point was a big consideration for us and it is reasonable enough that we're able to standardize on Aruba for the networking pieces in our organization."

  • "This product is cheaper than competing products by other vendors."
  • "There are not any external or hidden costs."
  • "The price-performance is great."
  • "MikroTik is very cost-effective and quite good for the price. It performs very well. For one of our customers, the existing setup comprises Cisco Catalyst switches, and it is about 10 to 15 years old. We're looking into upgrading in a cost-effective way to get the performance and yet still be at par with the quality and expectations that customers have from Cisco. Price-wise, Cisco is really expensive, and customers are expecting something different than Cisco so that they can save on IT costs. They don't have the same budget that they had before when they installed Cisco products. That's why they're looking for a solution that can provide performance and features without too much money or investment. We're looking at some alternative brands, such as NETGEAR and MikroTik, to support our proposal."
  • "The main reason we use this solution is for the price — it's very cheap."
  • "Pricing is not an issue."
  • "The pricing is very reasonable and is one of the main selling points for MikroTik devices."
  • "When you buy a license, it is for life and you don't need to buy another one every year."
